Purpose of Position:

The Volunteer Interpreter or Translator will provide interpretation and/or translation for Isuroon programming and events. Volunteer candidates can identify in their application whether they would like to volunteer as an interpreter or translator or both.

Requirements of Position:

Fluency in two or more of the following languages is required: Somali, Pashto, Dari, and English.

The volunteer candidate may have experience in language translating or interpreting, but is not necessary.

Preference will be given to certified language interpreters.

Benefits:

The Volunteer Interpreter will gain experience in language interpretation, non-profit organizations, and working with diverse cultural communities.
