Are you ready to spread holiday cheer and make a difference in your community? We invite you to join us as a volunteer at the Jingle Bell Run in Columbus, Ohio, on December 7, 2024. This festive event promises a day filled with joy, goodwill, and a dash of holiday spirit, and we need your help to make it truly special.
Volunteer Information:
Location: Genoa Park (Behind COSI) 303 W Broad St, Columbus, OH 43215 Volunteer Check-In: 6:45am in the meeting room below COSI, just off the English Plaza
Parking: Parking is located at the LAZ Parking garage located in front of COSI. This garage is situated at 52 Belle St, Columbus, OH 43215.
Event Schedule:
Volunteer Check-In: 6:45am
Event Start Time: 8:00am
Expected Event End Time: 12:00pm
Volunteer Duties:
As a Jingle Bell Run volunteer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of this heartwarming event. Your duties may include:
Guiding Participants: Assist event participants as they arrive, guiding them from the parking areas to the COSI English Plaza for day-of registration and packet pick-up.
Santa's Village Attendant: Run activities in Santa's Village including crafts, reindeer games, and pictures with Santa!
Starting Line Support: Help participants find their way to the event starting line and staging areas, ensuring they are ready for an amazing start to the run.
Assisting Top Fundraising Teams and Sponsors: Be a welcoming and helpful presence for our top fundraising teams and event sponsors, directing them to their assigned tents and providing any necessary support.
Event Set-Up: Participate in light event set-up duties to make sure everything runs smoothly.
Cheer Along the Warrior Mile: Spread encouragement and holiday cheer as you cheer on participants along the Warrior Mile walking route.
Post-Event Cleanup: Join us in keeping the event area tidy by helping with post-event trash pick-up.
Additional Duties: Please be flexible, as some duties may be assigned as needed to ensure the event's success.
