Cleaning dog spaces is one of the most resource-intensive elements to caring for dogs in our shelter, but also one of the most important. Not only is a clean living space good for their health, but cleaner kennels can also improve a dog's chance of being adopted. More support in kennel cleaning also frees up time so Seattle Humane can help more dogs overall!
This role includes:
- Cleaning dog housing spaces (spot cleaning OR deep cleaning, depending on the state of the kennel)
- Preparing dog adoption spaces for opening to the public
- Restocking supplies as needed
Help is needed every day from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. and we're looking for volunteers who can commit to volunteering once a week or every other week for at least 3 months.
