Position Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and creative Marketing Intern to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in marketing, social media management, content creation, and digital campaign development within a nonprofit setting. As a Marketing Intern, you will work closely with our Marketing Team to promote our mission, engage our community, and grow our online presence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Help develop and execute a marketing plan for The Hopeful Elephant Organization.

• Conduct research on current trends, best practices, and potential partnerships for audience engagement.

• Assist in planning, creating, and scheduling content for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok).

• Support the creation of email newsletters, blog posts, and other content to inform and inspire our audience.

• Collaborate with our design team to ensure brand consistency across all channels.

• Contribute ideas for new marketing initiatives and outreach strategies.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a marketing, communications, or related degree program.

• Strong interest in nonprofit marketing and/or social causes.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Familiarity with social media platforms and content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).

• Basic knowledge of digital marketing concepts (SEO, email marketing, social media engagement).

• Proactive attitude with strong organizational and time management skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
