Administration/Computer Volunteer

Aztec Ruins National Monument is looking for a volunteer to work with the administration team! The volunteer will be expected to help with a variety of office duties and tasks, including:
- Removing hard drives from computers, in preparation for recycling
- Wiping and crushing hard drives going to recycle
- Imaging and setting up computers for use
- Setting up mobile devices for use (mobile phones and tablets)
- Updating computers with Windows and Dell updates
- Assisting with computer and various other IT inventories
- Assisting with ordering IT supplies
- Assisting with shredding documents
- Preparing files for administrative staff (such as property files)
- Maintaining filing systems and ensuring the proper retention, protection, and disposal of records.
Volunteer applicant should have basic computer hardware knowledge and basic office skills. The applicant should be able to work well with others while fostering a positive work environment. Knowledge of typing, word processing skills, and experience with Microsoft Office Software (including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams) and managing databases is required. The applicant should be well organized, be able to work independently and as part of a team, be able to work under pressure in a busy office environment, and have strong attention to detail.
Applicant should have a current driver's license, be able to pass a federal background investigation, and be a US citizen. Applicant should have at least a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Housing may be available for this position. Housing is an RV trailer spot with hookups included. Applicant would need to supply their own RV/trailer.
