Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and driven volunteer to assist Cloud Veterans in securing corporate sponsorships and individual donations to support our programs. This role is vital for expanding our outreach and funding, allowing us to grow our services and help more veterans achieve rewarding tech careers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Corporate Sponsorship Outreach: Identify potential corporate partners and initiate outreach through email, LinkedIn, and other professional networks to secure sponsorships.
• Individual Donations: Develop strategies to engage individual donors and encourage one-time or recurring contributions through targeted email campaigns, social media posts, and LinkedIn messages.
• Social Media Advertising: Collaborate on social media campaigns to increase visibility and attract both corporate sponsors and individual donors, utilizing platforms like Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter.
• Email Marketing: Craft engaging emails for sponsorship proposals, donor outreach, and updates, sharing the impact of Cloud Veterans’ work.
• Relationship Building: Foster long-term relationships with corporate sponsors and donors by providing regular updates, thank-you notes, and sharing stories of impact.
• Reporting: Track outreach efforts and fundraising progress, providing regular reports on donation growth and sponsorship acquisitions.

Qualifications:

• Experience in fundraising, sales, marketing, or sponsorship outreach is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with LinkedIn and social media platforms for outreach and networking.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Passionate about supporting veterans and Cloud Veterans’ mission.
