Are you passionate about making a difference through social media and digital organizing? Join us as a Digital Organizer and help amplify our 100 Days Free of Violence initiative by encouraging your network to take the pledge at https://forms.gle/ zUiTjin17iC8TL4UA and encourage others to set examples in their communities, advocate for nonviolent solutions to conflict, and raise awareness about the impact of violence on society. As a Digital Organizing & Social Media Outreach volunteer, you’ll play a vital role in expanding our reach, raising awareness, and mobilizing supporters. This flexible, remote opportunity is perfect for anyone who enjoys working with social media and is committed to creating positive change.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspire action by encouraging social media contacts to take the pledge and commit to 100 days of nonviolence
  • Assist in sharing content across social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.)
  • Help grow our online community by interacting with followers, answering questions, and encouraging engagement with SAFE on our social media pages
  • Collaborate with the team to develop strategies for increasing online visibility and support
  • Use digital tools to track outreach performance and adjust strategies for greater impact
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Strong familiarity with social media platforms and digital tools
  • Passion for our mission and commitment to making a difference through digital advocacy
Time Commitment:
  • Flexible; we ask for 5-10 hours total helping us promote the initiative and raise awareness online

Description

Serving at-risk families everywhere, Inc. (SAFE) is a community-based nonprofit organization operating across the Deep South (Alabama, Georgia, and South Carolina) to empower families by encouraging healthy relationships, involved parenting, personal, mental, and emotional care, and connecting families to resources so they can thrive. SAFE was founded in 2022 by a group of community members wanting to address root issues plaguing communities in the South. The organization is led by a small but mighty staff, a Board of Directors with strong ties to the communities we serve, and a dedicated group of volunteers.
