ORGANIZATION: MARTIN LUTHER KING JR CENTER FOR NON VIOLENT SOCIAL CHANGE INC

Team Rubicon is a veteran-led humanitarian organization that serves global communities before, during, and after disasters and crises. Founded following the Haiti earthquake in 2010, Team Rubicon has grown to more than 170,000 volunteers and has launched over 1,200 disaster operations.

Team Rubican's most current urgent need is to support communities who have been impacted by Hurricanes Helene & Milton. They will be deploying thousands of volunteers across the Southeast over the next several months and want YOU to join them!

Typical activities include mucking out homes to remove water-logged material; or working outside homes - boarding up broken windows, removing debris from yards, and working alongside our chainsaw operators to haul away cut up branches and trees. For those who prefer to serve in the background, there are less physical tasks to be accomplished at the FOB to help ensure folks in the field have the support they need.

If you are interested in supporting Team Rubicon's Hurricane response efforts, visit this website below to register!
