Join staff at the Big Sandy unit of the Big Thicket National Preserve for a native seed planting event from 9am-12pm on 12/19/2024.
Work will include:
- Distribution of native seeds by hand
- Raking/tilling of ground to be seeded
- Hiking multiple miles
- Carrying loads of up to 40lbs
- Working on uneven terrain
- Working in area inhabited by wildlife
Exact location will be determined prior to the event, and the location will be emailed out to participants.
