Are you excited about the opportunity to make a big difference in the future of Lehi youth?

We are seeking enthusiastic local residents to join The Lehi Cares Coalition, a prevention initiative through Lehi City and the Lehi City Police Department. In this role, you will help prevent problems in youth before they start. We are addressing issues such as Drug Use, Delinquency, School Dropout and Suicide. No previous experience is necessary-just a commitment to positive change and community improvement. You can contribute in a multitude of ways that fit within your interests, skills and schedule. Your involvement might include participating in community outreach, event planning, and assessment efforts.

Coalition meetings are the 3rd Tuesday evening each month at 6 pm.

Ways you might help:

-Facilitate parenting workshops to help increase family attachment in our community

-Participate in community outreach programs to educate residents on how to promote healthy outcomes in youth

-Help plan and execute engaging events to spread awareness of prevention practices

-Contribute to community needs assessment to shape our 3-5 year action plan

-Support the foundation of the Lehi Cares Coalition so we can continue to make an impact for years to come
