Are you passionate about making a real impact in the lives of young people? Youth Enhancement Services is seeking dedicated volunteers for our JOY (Just One Youth) Initiative! This program is committed to empowering youth ages 16-24 to achieve and maintain a living wage as they enter the workforce, offering guidance and support to help them thrive.
Available Volunteer Positions:
- Case Manager - Provide one-on-one support, resources, and guidance to help youth overcome personal and professional challenges.
- PR/Marketing Specialist - Increase awareness of the JOY initiative and build our community presence through engaging content and outreach.
- Fundraiser/Grant Writer - Assist in securing essential funding through grant applications, partnerships, and community events.

Our mission is to develop and implement alternative education solutions, effective programs and practical action strategies for disconnected youth and their families.
Description
YES’ new J.O.Y. (Just One Youth) Initiative will enable us to exponentially increase the number of youth served annually by recruiting more aligned community partnerships. All of our programs offer a second chance for young people who have left traditional public schools, giving them the opportunity to earn a GED (General Education Diploma) and receive critical guidance for post-secondary success. Recently, we’ve expanded our services to include counseling for high school graduates facing challenges as they transition into their next phase of life. We assist in exploring post-secondary options at local educational institutions, apprenticeship programs, and other training opportunities that lead to sustainable, living-wage careers.
At YES, we believe in fostering personal growth, community engagement, and self-empowerment in every participant, encouraging them to build their skill sets and pursue brighter futures.
