Seeking individuals who are passionate about making mental health counseling services affordable and accessible for all in the Greater Boston area to join our dynamic Board of Directors. Visionary thinkers sought with expertise in fundraising, grant writing and strategic planning to help the organization grow and serve more people across the lifespan. Attendance at quarterly board meetings (most by zoom) and participation in one board committee (Executive, Budget/Finances or Fundraising) required.

Mission Statement
To provide counseling and support across the lifespan; as well as assistance in accessing adequate health care, education and housing for individuals and families who are at transitional points in their lives. The practice also provides training opportunities for students in the helping professions. Neighborhood Counseling and Community Services, Inc (NCCS) helps individuals and families attain their goals, thus strengthening the stability and diversity of our community.
Description
Small, non-profit community mental health practice supporting residents of Somerville, MA and surrounding communities (and residents across the State of Massachusetts via telehealth) by providing affordable and accessible mental health counseling services. We provide pro bono counseling individual services via our internship program, as well as group counseling. Serving students of the Somerville Public Schools as well.
