The Alzheimer's Association is looking for volunteers in the North Bay area to help educate communities in English, Spanish, Chinese and Vietnamese; raise funds and awareness; engage our elected officials, and more. What We Do: The Walk To End Alzheimer's is held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide, the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's is the world's largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer's care, support and research. This inspiring event calls on participants of all ages and abilities to join the fight against the disease! When you participate in Walk, your fundraising dollars fuel our mission, and your participation in the event helps to change the level of Alzheimer's awareness in your community. The Alzheimer's Association provides free, easy-to-use tools and staff support to help participants reach their fundraising goal. While there is no fee to register, we encourage participants to fundraise in order to contribute to the cause and raise awareness. Please consider starting a team or signing up to walk as an individual for walk day. We also are looking for help! We could not do it without our volunteers! Please consider volunteering with us. Who We Are: We provide support, care and education for those living with or caring for someone with Alzheimer's disease. This includes a 24/7 Helpline, 1-800-292-3900. The Alzheimer's Association is the leading non-profit contributor to critical research nationwide.
