Are you a licensed barber/beautician or cosmetologist who loves making people feel confident and cared for? Join The Wellness Circle in giving back to the community by providing free grooming services for those in need. As a Volunteer Barber/Beautician, you’ll use your skills to help individuals feel their best, promoting dignity and self-esteem through personalized haircuts and styling. As part of the Fairfax-Falls Church Community Services Board (CSB)*, The Wellness Circle Crisis Stabilization Unit is a 16-bed regional facility that provides an alternative to psychiatric hospitalization for Northern Virginia residents.
Requirements:
- Must be a licensed barber, beautician or cosmetologist.
- Passion for helping others and giving back to the community.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a caring attitude.

Description
When you join our volunteer team, you will receive training, supervision, diverse educational experiences, and opportunities for personal growth. Various positions are available throughout Fairfax County and the cities of Fairfax and Falls Church. The times and days available are flexible and include some evening and weekend opportunities, as well as regular weekday hours. By providing direct service, administrative support, or participating in special projects, volunteers are valuable members of our team.
