Are you passionate about serving individuals who are voiceless? Want to make a positive impact in your community? Join us for a community outreach event that is dedicated to supporting children, families and the homeless population in our community. We are looking for compassionate and dedicated volunteers to help us uplift the voices of the unheard!
Breaking Cycles is a "Monthly Community Day" event aimed at serving the homeless population in our community. This event will provide a nutritious meal, offer a sense of community, and connect attendees with the necessary resources and opportunities that will help them break the vicious cycles of their circumstances.
As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to help The Fort Greene Project bring the community together to support and build authentic relationships with the homeless individuals in our community. With the right partnerships, volunteer support, and community involvement, this event can make a meaningful impact on the lives of many individuals within our community.
Whether you can lend a few hours or stay for the entire event, every bit helps! Volunteers will assist with distributing food, offering basic supplies, and creating a welcoming space for connection and support.
How Will You Help:
- Serve meals
- Participate in setup and clean up duties
- Distribute clothing, hygiene items, and giftbags
- Engage in meaningful conversations and fun games, and offer support
