Career Accelerator

NGS’ virtual career accelerator program intended for young women, ages 18-22. This virtual program aims to prepare young women for internships and future careers in various professions. Young women will leave with a completed resume, established LinkedIn profile, and various connections with women in professions and at companies of interest. Participants will gain a better understanding of careers that they are interested in, the high demand careers and interviewing and resume building practice. The volunteer roles are listed below.

Description: The purpose of this activity is to give the participant an opportunity to practice negotating a job offer.

Details: You will be connected to 1 - 2 students who are interested in this elective activity. Their suggested pre-requisite is to do the Negotiation session. You and the participant will determine which day and time to conduct the mock job offer based on what works with both of your schedules.
