Description
Mission Statement
Haven Health is a team of caring professionals committed to serving patients and their families with Compassion, Dignity & Grace. We set the standard of Hospice and Home Health providing quality care for the patient where they live. We provide home bound patients and their loved ones with the support and care necessary to meet their health care goals. We believe that the best care available is a combination of quality clinical care along with the supportive, empathetic and caring delivery of that clinical care. We provide health care with a caring heart. We believe that an empathetic connection with the patient enhances the clinical treatment. Our desire is to connect with the patient where they are at, physically, emotionally and spiritually and therein support them along their healthcare path.
Description
End-of-life care from Haven aims to provide compassionate and skilled care to terminally ill patients and their families. To help us successfully achieve this goal, the support of our volunteers is key. Volunteers support patients and families in many ways. Their presence can be extremely comforting, even if the volunteer only sits quietly in the room. This time together allows the family much-needed respite for their appointments or other activities that they need to do out of the house. Volunteers are the heart of our end-of-life program. They provide that extra level of care and comfort that makes all the difference to patients and families. Volunteering is uniquely challenging and rewarding work.
