Nerdy Girl Success - High School Club

Westside HS Club | Career Speaker Club Meeting

The NGS HS Club helps girls from grads 9th - 12th, develop the skills necessary for success in their life, education and careers. These skills include leadership, public speaking, advocacy, business acumen and learning how to collaborate with one another, rather than competing.

Having a Career Speaker at a Nerdy Girl Success High School Club meeting is an opportunity for students to connect with a professional woman who shares her unique career journey in an open, conversational setting. The volunteer discusses her experiences, including the challenges she’s faced, the successes she’s achieved, and the education or certifications required in her field. This informal setting allows club members to ask questions and gain insights, giving them a real-world perspective on various career paths. It’s a chance for students to learn directly from someone who has navigated the path to success in her profession.
