Every year in early December, we host a two-day holiday bazaar featuring fair-trade, handmade goods from Nepal in Webster Groves, MO, to benefit our Nepali children and programs. We carefully select each item during our annual trip, while visiting our children and programs in Nepal and are always excited to see these beautiful handicrafts enjoyed as unique gifts in the U.S. We have traditional Nepali handicrafts such as fine sterling silver and mixed metal jewelry, singing bowls and statues, clothing, woolen items, and holiday ornaments, and much more.
Please consider joining us in assisting customers in selecting beautiful handicrafts at specific merchandise stations. We will offer three shifts on Saturday, December 7, and Sunday, December 8. Every volunteer will receive a 20% discount on their one-day total purchase.
Shifts available: 9:30 a.m. - noon; 11:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.; and 1:30 - 4:00 p.m.

Mission Statement
It's our mission to educate and empower severely underprivileged children to reach their full potential as citizens of Nepal. We strive to maximally impact the lives of these children who in turn contribute to their community. We provide individualized education, housing, healthcare, early childhood development and support services such as nutrition/hygiene, counseling, empowerment programs, scholarships and career development.
Description
Education is our primary focus, but we work hard to address all of the obstacles facing children in Nepal. When children suffer under extreme poverty, malnutrition, and trauma, learning is the last thing on their minds. We work with children with mental, educational, and physical disabilities, as well as academically gifted children in a holistic, tailored way that allows them to reach their unique potential. Our children receive the social, emotional, medical, educational, and environmental support they need through their entire years of schooling to adulthood and independence. We have seen amazing results and transformations by offering additional services to every child we serve, in coordination with our educational programs.
