The Volunteer Ambassador Program at the Promise Fund empowers community members to support our mission by raising awareness of critical breast and cervical health resources available to women nationaly but more specifically South Florida. As a Volunteer Ambassador, you will play a vital role in community outreach, educating the public on the services provided by the Promise Fund, and connecting those in need with access to screenings, care, and support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Community Outreach: Engage with community members through tabling events, health fairs, and other local gatherings, representing the Promise Fund with professionalism and empathy.
• Resource Education: Share information on breast and cervical health resources, explaining how The Promise Fund can help individuals access essential care.
• Collaboration: Work closely with our Patient Navigators and other staff to enhance support networks, ensuring those in need can find and receive the services they require.
• Event Support: Assist at Promise Fund events by helping with setup, providing information to attendees, and supporting various event activities.

Ideal Candidates:
We are looking for individuals who are:

• Culturally Aware: Capable of engaging respectfully with people from diverse backgrounds.
• Great Communicators: Confident speaking with individuals one-on-one and in small groups.
