Brilliant Detroit’s Fitgerald hub will be celebrating the Holiday Season by creating a festive atmosphere where families can enjoy a special holiday meal together. We will promote healthy eating by demonstrating fun and easy ways to prepare and enjoy nutritious meals. We will build community by strengthening connections among families and within the broader community. And we hope to create lasting memories by providing a unique and enjoyable experience that families will remember fondly.

****This is an outdoor event dress for the weather****

- Setup volunteers will meet At Brilliant Detroit Fitzgerald and help load tables, chairs, tents, heaters into their cars and bring them to the park, where they will set up tents, tables ,chairs, and activities. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.***

- The registration team will help register families and check them in. They will be responsible for making sure all families are checked in and have dinner tickets along with making sure the information is legible.

- Volunteers at the ornament table should enjoy people. Families will come to this table to create family ornaments to take home. These volunteers should be ok with Glitter and glue.

- Photobooth volunteers should be fun loving and outgoing. They will help the families set up to take photos and make sure we have the correct information to send them their photos. Should be tech savvy.

- Volunteers at the picture frame table will be responsible for helping families craft a picture frame.

- Food service volunteers should be adults and ok with handling hot food.

- Volunteers will tear down event and make sure the park is back in order. This will call for lifting.
