We are looking for tutors for our after school program before wrestling practice Monday-Friday between 4-5:30 pm.

Our champions need assistance with all subjects, but primarily reading and math. We are open to tutors coming in a once or twice a week or every day, whichever works best for your schedule or your grade level preference. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday - 7th-12th graders Wednesday Friday - Kindergarten-8th graders We are located at 9513 S Dorchester

We empower Chicago youth through wrestling. We combine year-round wrestling programs with customized enrichment opportunities so that children can become their best selves. Mentoring, tutoring, workshops and positive relationships combined with the unique power of wrestling changes lives. Our programs are values-based, with an emphasis on character. Accountability, gratitude, grit, integrity and excellence are at the heart of all we do and teach. Together, our wrestlers, families, coaches, mentors, staff, volunteers and generous donors form a diverse community rooted in Chicago and the culture of wrestling done right.

Description

Beat the Streets Chicago has been providing wrestling opportunities to our youth since 1994. Under the current direction of Executive Director, Mike Powell as of 2018, we been helping our wrestlers become Life Champions. Every kid who walks through our doors goes on to college, trade schools or apprenticeship programs.
