The Tennessee Williams Festival St. Louis will be announcing its 10th season soon! Even though we are still finalizing details, we want to start building a strong volunteer force to bring another great festival to St. Louis! We depend on volunteers, and highly appreciate your time, so if you want to be part of our team, do not hesitate to reach out at info@twstl.org.

The Festival often takes place on August, however, for our tenth season we have more exciting events that will occur throughout the year. More information will be posted soon.

Volunteers are needed for the following tasks:

  • Office tasks and administration (creating spreadsheets and calendars, organizing tasks)

  • Front of House (ushering and greeting)

  • Customer service (box office and helping people with questions)

  • Production Crew (moving chairs, set-up tables, etc)

  • Call/emails schools and senior centers to offer group sales

  • Drop postcards/posters at local businesses

  • Be a driver for guest artists/panelists (airport pickups, to/from rehearsal, etc)

Mission Statement

Our mission is to enrich the cultural life of St. Louis by producing an annual theater festival, and other artistic and educational events, that celebrate the art and influence of Tennessee Williams.

Description

The Tennessee Williams Festival St Louis features events, plays, readings, panel discussions and educational activities anchored in the Grand Center area. Our educational outreach will touch under-served schools, who will mount mini-productions. We will collaborate with local, national and foriegn theater companies and arts organizations.
