Recruiting Organization: Lenox Hill Neighborhood House

Lenox Hill Neighborhood House is a 130-year-old settlement house widely recognized as one of New York's premier human services providers. Founded in 1894 as a free kindergarten for immigrant children, the Neighborhood House now serves 16,000 people in need each year through an array of effective and integrated services--social, educational, legal, health, housing, mental health, nutritional and fitness.

We are seeking volunteers to serve meals at our annual Thanksgiving Dinner Dance for Older Adults, a festive holiday event where we provide a special holiday meal and live entertainment to 300 of our older adult clients. Volunteers are needed on Monday, November 25th, 3:30pm-6:30pm to serve food and beverages to guests.
