CorsoCare Hospice is looking for military veterans who are interested in becoming a visiting companion for our military veteran hospice clients. As a Hospice Veteran Volunteer, you have the honor of supporting our military patients in the final part of their journey. As a veteran, you share a special connection with veteran patients that only can be found through the mutual experiences and code of military members. You will have the opportunity to offer companionship to patients at Forest Glen Assisted Living.
CorsoCare Hospice is a proud Level 3 Member of the We Honor Veteran’s program, which is a collaboration between the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
You will be provided ongoing one-on-one staff support throughout your service with us and will be invited to voluntary education opportunities and appreciation events.
