The Healthy Equitable Living Project (H.E.L.P.) Food Pantry provides essential food assistance to students in local schools, ensuring that all children have access to nutritious meals. Our program focuses on supporting families in need by offering a range of healthy food options, including fresh produce, whole grains, and canned proteins. We are committed to promoting food security and equity within our community.
We are dedicated to going beyond just providing meals. We strive to make sure every student and their family, feels valued and respected in our shopping -style pantry.
Join us as a Pantry Food Station Assistant and play a key role in helping students and their families receive the vital food support they need each week. As you volunteer on Saturday, food station assistants greet each client, assist with navigating the pantry, and help ensure they have a positive shopping experience. This role also involves guiding clients to other food stations and creatively explaining available items.
We’re looking for friendly, approachable individuals who are eager to lend a hand! Volunteers are needed Saturday from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM. If you’re passionate about making a direct impact and giving back to your community, we’d love to have you on board!
Interested? Reach out today and help us make a difference!
