Lots of work has taken place at Point Defiance Park along the hillside and near the entrance next to the old Goldfish Tavern. Volunteers have come together throughout the year to remove weeds taking over and now it's time to plant! Join in on the fun and put your mark on the park by planting with us this November! All ages and abilities are welcome. Rain or shine. Tools and training will be provided.
Meet near the entrance of Point Defiance Park at Pearl Street. Parking along North Park Ave.

Metro Parks Tacoma is a CAPRA-accredited, independent park district that leads efforts to build a healthy, sustainable community.
Metro Parks Tacoma offers a variety of experiences on its 2,905 acres:
- Two AZA-accredited zoos
- An old-growth forest inside 760-acre Point Defiance Park
- Sports complexes, pools and spraygrounds
- Community centers
- A marina on Puget Sound
- An accredited living history museum

- A Victorian-style conservatory inside an arboretum
