Habitat LA is hosting the 8th annual Large ReStore Symposium!
Why: Sign up as an event support volunteer to help make this multi-day event a success.
Who: Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope, envisioning a world where every person has a decent place to live.
What to Expect: Assist our Special Events team with organizing and setting up event items at this multi-day event. Set up tables & chairs. Hang banners and signage. Organize donations and fold t-shirts. Sort refreshments and snacks. Break down boxes and collect trash.
What's Required:
Time: Varies by shift *We ask for at least a four-hour commitment to support this event. Volunteers are not required to commit to the full day.
Volunteers should be willing to follow directions, work well with others, understand English, or have someone along that does.
Ability to lift 15-20 lbs.
* All volunteers must be at least 16 years of age. Volunteers aged 16 - 17 require an adult chaperone to be present with them while volunteering. * Volunteers ages 16 - 17 must have a parent or guardian sign the minor's release and waiver of liability form and bring it to the site on the workday.
