Help L.A. Works in preparing materials for volunteers who are supporting throughout various Kit Making and Beautification projects for Activision Day of Service!
Why: Your volunteer efforts will ensure a succesful Activision Day of Service throughout Los Angeles and various locations across the country!
Who: In partnership with L.A. Works Corporate Events team, your Leadership will gurantee volunteers feel supported in their service projects on Activision Day of Service for Veterans in Los Angeles and across the country.
What to Expect: These pre-activision preparation events will consist of packing, collecting, organizing, etc. In general, Volunteers may be asked to do the following:
Help unload the L.A. Works project items and set up the various projects.
Help in testing, sorting, and packing markers and stencils for complete project kits.
Help keep work stations clean.
Help collect any L.A. Works supplies and packing them back up post-event.
You will receive training the day of.
No experience is necessary! Water and light snacks will be provided.
What's Required:
No experience necessary!
Adults must be able to lift up to 25lbs (or ask for other tasks by emailing the Opportunity Leader below).
Must be comfortable with hands-on physical work (i.e. collecting, sorting, packing, organizing, etc).
Wear comfortable clothes and close-toed shoes that you can move in and don't mind getting dirty.
Must be vaccinated.
