Volunteers must be at least 16 years old. Anyone under 18 needs an adult chaperone, 18 years or older.
Prepare and serve lunch on Sundays to program participants at Harvest Farm, an emergency shelter for men. Shift includes some clean-up as well. Perfect for groups of 3-8 volunteers. Advance sign-up at www.fortcollinsrescuemission.org/volunteer is required to ensure our kitchen is not overcrowded.

Description
Founded in 1892, Denver Rescue Mission is the oldest full-service Christian charity serving the poor and needy in the Rocky Mountain region.
Lawrence Street Shelter is our most recognizable location because of the neon "Jesus Saves" sign on the corner of the building. Services at this location include shelter (up to 315 men nightly), medical services and relational and emotional support for those experiencing homelessness.
The Crossing provides a long-term New Life Program location for men; the STAR Transitional Program for homeless families and single men and women with children; and temporary housing for New Life Program graduates, interns and visitors.
48th Avenue Center, in partnership with the City of Denver, the Mission operates this shelter location throughout the year. Along with nightly beds for men, this location operates 24/7, offering three meals a day, restrooms, and access to various support services.
