Volunteer Position: Grant Writer

Are you passionate about helping Veterans and their families, and skilled in writing and research? Operation Horses Heal is seeking a dedicated volunteer Grant Writer to help us secure funding to expand our equine-assisted services and support programs for Veterans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Researching potential grant opportunities that align with our mission
• Writing compelling grant proposals and applications
• Collaborating with our team to gather necessary information and data for proposals
• Tracking submission deadlines and managing the grant application process
• Assisting with reports for grant compliance and funder updates

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to use their writing skills to make a real impact. Your contributions will directly support programs that promote healing, connection, and support for Veterans and their families.

Qualifications:

• Strong writing, editing, and research skills
• Experience in grant writing is a plus, but not required
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Passion for our mission and commitment to supporting Veterans
