Seeking someone to build, test, and eventually deploy an app for volunteers working in our office to register persons picking up food at the food pantry at Midtown Family Services. The tablets we use are Android-based. Meanwhile, the CRM we use is Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud. Initial build and testing will be in a sandbox so no fear of breaking anything during that portion of the project. Final deployment will be overseen by a board member of our agency with significant experience. Either experienced Salesforce Admins or college students majoring in computer science, data sciences, or management information systems with an interest in Salesforce are welcome. We do strongly prefer someone willing to complete the discovery, testing, and final deployment portions of the project in person in our office though the build portion can be done remotely.

Description
Midtown Family Services provides support for low-income individuals/families living in San Jose and surrounding communities in two program areas: Financial counseling and navigation services for low income, working, members of the community with basic needs; and reentry of individuals back into the community after incarceration in state prison.
