ORGANIZATION: CAT CANTON RESCUE INC

Cat Canton Rescue has adoptable cats staying at Petsmart locations, and we need volunteers to care for the cats once a week morning shift.

Clean the cages, feed the cats, refresh water, play and socialize cats, keep the location clean and ready for the next shift.

Mission Statement

Our Mission: As a nonprofit cat rescue group is first to do no harm. To provide aid to homeless strays, feral and surrendered cats in local urban and suburban communities. To be intercessors of low cost spay / neuter and vaccination for all cats and kittens we rescue. To educate the public by promoting the many low cost spay / neuter programs and the benefits. To continue our Trap Neuter and Return (TNR) program for feral cat colonies and evaluating and removing adoptable strays. To increase our network of volunteers and increase the adoption of cats.

Description

CCR does not have a shelter facility. We operate entirely with a network of foster homes as well as having the help of the adoption centers at Petsmart in the Walpole Mall and Westwood.

CCR does not receive government funding and are completely reliant on donations from compassionate individuals. We are licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Agriculture License: MA-196.
