e are seeking volunteers willing to assist with light household tasks for our hospice patients living at home. Often these patients don't have around the clock help and it is hard for them to keep up with daily household tasks such has vacuuming, dusting, unloading or loading the dishwasher, throwing in a load of laundry or folding laundry, picking up prepaid groceries.
I know we all have our own chores at home but if you have an hour or 2 a week to spare and help someone please reach out.
This would be an immense help to our patients and their families as they are facing much greater obstacles.

Description
Amedisys Hospice of Uniontown, PA, seeks compassionate people to become volunteers and a part of our team in various locations in Johnstown, PA and surrounding areas. As a hospice volunteer, you would provide companionship and emotional support to our patients and their families. It can be a simple as a visit with a patient just to chat or read to them or simply brighten their day! However, if you have special talents that you'd really like to share, we offer pet therapy, music therapy and art therapy to our patients.
A hospice volunteer is a special person that's made the conscious decision to make a difference in the lives of others. Can you even offer 1-2 hours of your time per month? We're very flexible! Our company takes great pride in the fact that we offer trained volunteers. Are you a Veteran? We're always looking for Vets to connect with our Veteran patients!
