Are you a Middle School, High School, or College student looking to make an impact? We invite you to apply to help us raise funds for an important cause!
International SEVA is seeking enthusiastic student volunteers to reach out to local vendors for donations for our Online Auction scheduled for Spring 2025. We’ve already received some fantastic items, and we need your help to gather more!
Why Get Involved?The funds raised will provide tablets, computers, and electronics for 1,100 underprivileged, orphaned, and special needs children living in rural Gujarat, India. These children often lack access to technology and play equipment, hindering their education and development. Your efforts will help empower them to reach their full potential, bringing joy and hope to both students and teachers in their communities.
Who Can Participate?Students from Fairfax and Loudoun Counties in Virginia, Montgomery and Howard Counties in Maryland, and Fort Bend County in Texas are encouraged to join. Ensure all items can be bid on in these counties and beyond!
How You Can Help:Here are some exciting ways you can contribute to our auction:
- Collect Gift Vouchers: Reach out to salons, spas, cafes, and bakeries for vouchers.
- Gather Merchandise: Request gift certificates from grocery stores, retail outlets, and local restaurants.
- Create Gift Baskets: Assemble baskets with toys, gourmet food, art supplies, and books for younger children-always a hit!
- Donations of Experiences: Seek travel tickets (with or without lodging) and local adventure experiences.
- Healthcare Services: Ask local practitioners for free dental cleanings, vision tests, or health check-ups.
- Promotional Coupons: Gather car wash vouchers or coupon booklets for pizza and donuts.
- Unique Items: Look for signed memorabilia, antiques, or event tickets.
- Educational Offers: Arrange for free online tutoring sessions or family photo shoots.

SHORT TERM GOALS:
- Seeking grant writers, marketing, social media creating post/management, and volunteer support.
- Generous funding from individuals, Corporations, Foundations to provide hygiene kits, meals, groceries and educational/craft supplies for special needs children.
PROGRAMS:
- Provide much needed & deserved well-being, joy & comfort through educational, wellness awareness, advocacy, religious & social services.
- Provide poverty relief & share local community-based services with commitment & unwavering desire to always serve mankind with passion, persistence & hard work whenever & however possible to live with inner/mental peace. Promote self-fulfillment and self-sufficiency.
- With trust, respect & open communication: Team-up, collaborate & provide educational & nutritional support to Organizations with similar passions, goals.
ACHIEVEMENTS:
- 8,628 Pounds food donated
- 7,698 Number of Hot Lunches/Dinners Served & Healthy Snack Bags Distributed
- 1,597 Clients served with custom care to uplift their spirit, relieve loneliness & anxiety
- 5,145 Items (Household, hygiene kits, school supplies) provided to low income, homeless shelters to thrive, restore hope & promote self-sufficiency
