About Us:
Bright Mind is an Award-winning non-profit organization recognized for our innovative initiatives such as Wellness Week and 'Street Care'. Our efforts reached 60 million people and have been featured on CBS, Politico, ABC, and Newsweek. We are looking for a passionate and versatile graphic designer to join our volunteer team. If you have a flair for creativity and a desire to make a positive impact, we would love to hear from you!
Who Can Volunteer:
Whether you are a seasoned volunteer or brand new to the field, we welcome individuals from all walks of life. By volunteering with us, you'll gain valuable experience, connect with like-minded individuals, and make a tangible impact in your community.
Responsibilities may include:
Create visually appealing and user-friendly web designs for our websites.
Design/update logos that represent our mission and programs.
Develop eye-catching posters for various campaigns, events, and educational materials.
Collaborate with our team to produce high-quality graphics for social media, advertisements, and other digital platforms.
Ensure brand consistency across all design projects.
Stay updated with the latest design trends and tools.
Requirements(if you are in doubt about your experience, please reach out anyway):
Proven experience in web design, logo design, and poster design.
Proficiency in design tools such as Canva, Figma, and Photoshop. Knowledge of other design tools like Procreate is a plus.
Portfolio showcasing a variety of design projects.
Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Attention to detail and sense of aesthetics.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in animation or video editing.
Familiarity with UX/UI principles.
Knowledge of HTML/CSS.

Description
Bright Mind is a community wellness education organization.
Bright Mind recently launched Street Care, a massive initiative built by our homelessness and wellness experts, 'your toolkit to help homeless people.' We have an app, an expanding series of informational materials and instructional videos (25+ already), and more (at streetcare.us). We are pioneering an online and on-the-streets outreach approach, accessible to everyone.
For all of Bright Mind's work, well-being, tenacity, curiosity, and creativity are the heart of the approach, to help individuals thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. We are passionate about building community. This is a crucial time to create positive change, and we look forward to working together as we accomplish great things together!
