ORGANIZATION: GOODWILL OF THE FINGER LAKES, INC.

Responsibilities include:

  • Sorting shipped documents
  • Pairing pick list/shipped documents with original purchase orders
  • Create new folders or records, as necessary
  • Uses alphabetical and numerical systems to organize documents and place them in the corresponding customer folder
  • Maintain and organize customer files
  • End of the fiscal year, clearing all folders in filing cabinets and box them

Headquartered in Rochester, NY Goodwill of the Finger Lakes remains a caring, local, person-centered nonprofit organization that does a lot of good across Greater Rochester, Central New York, and the Finger Lakes Region Communities.

Our unique social enterprise is comprised of over 700 individuals who use their passion and expertise to find innovative solutions to address the countless barriers and social challenges that impact the lives of more than 200,000 people whom we are proud to serve annually. Through our community impact programs including but not limited to Goodwill Vision Enterprises (formally known as ABVI), 211/LIFE LINE, 988, Workforce Development, and our Good Neighbor Program; we create employment opportunities for people with barriers to independence while generating revenue to support our community programs and services.

  • Monday-Friday, morning and or afternoons, 2 hours minimum. Great attention to detail is needed for sorting orders numerically and occasionally lifting boxes under 25 lbs.
