We are part of the ScareFest in Palmer Park, Detroit, and need two adult volunteers to assist us in giving away Mint coloring pages, snacks, candy and more. This is a huge event with more than 10,000 people attending last year, and so we need volunteers who are flexible, adaptable and care about children.

Mission Statement
Mint Artists Guild helps to transform aspiring Detroit youth artists through education, exceptional engagement and experience, resulting in earning opportunities, skill-building, exposure, and mentoring. Mint launches creative careers and lasting connections. Mint also infuses the community with art and creative experiences, enhancing a collaborative, healthy and generous culture.
Description
Mint works with artists ages 13 to 23 on entrepreneurial, career and life skills, and gives them opportunities to sell their creative work. A summer jobs program, business workshops and online educational and informational resources are offered to young visual artists. In 2020, we launched the Metro Detroit Youth Arts Competition, a creative activity kit giveaway (of 5,500 kits) and in 2021, we launched leadership development training. This year, we are working on new internships and mosaic making and more. We need your help and support to continue our growth!
