Position: Transcriptionist - Lake Superior Collection Management Center
Location: Keweenaw History Center; Calumet, Michigan
Description: This position takes place at the Keweenaw History Center at the Keweenaw National Historical Park. The park's collection encompasses millions of unique items, all of which are important in some way to the story of the Keweenaw Peninsula and its surroundings. Included in those millions are oral interviews with individuals with interesting stories to tell. The primary duty of this position is to transcribe these conversations into a readable document so that these stories may be preserved for the future.
