Majestic Equine Connections, Inc. is a non-profit organization that enriches the lives of persons with disabilities. We have offer Adaptive horseback Riding also known as therapeutic horseback riding. We also typical lessons for beginners and intermediate.

Our Vision: **Family-Friendly, Quality Services, and Safe classes!**

We need volunteers at least 1 to 3 hours weekly. We have a greater need for volunteers in the Summer months as we are almost full. We provide an orientation training and on-going support. We care about our particpants and volunteers. We offer refreshements and encourage self-care.

Mission Statement

Majestic Equine Connections, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) dedicated to enriching the lives of persons with disabilities in Medina County and surrounding communities. Through our innovative horse services we provide ground equine-connection sessions, adaptive horseback riding, and other conventional therapies by certified instructor or therapist. Our services focuses on safe, therapeutic and fun horseback riding activities. Adaptive horseback riding classes focuses on mastering riding skills for both persons with or without disabilities and benefiting client's social, mental, and/or physical well being. Our passion is to serve our community and bring joy in our participants’ lives.

Description

Majestic Equine Connections, Inc. Innovative Horse Therapy

We are a non-profit organization that serve to improve the lives of persons with disabilities through horses. We offer Therapeutic Horseback Riding also known as Adaptive Horseback Riding. We offer Animal-Assisted Activities, Scouts badge opportunities, group barn time, typcial rider lessons, and travel to provide equine or bunny visits. We network with other non-profits to help benefit the public. We serve Medina, Summit, Richland, Cuyahoga counties for particpants.

Acheivements:Granted Large sum to build an indoor arena and barn on Westfield road near Chippewa. We are partners with Medina County Park District. We have won the donations of 100 plus women, We raised over $18,000 on our second year as a non-profit, and partnered with The Giving Place in Medina, and The Caring Corral non profit.

We have volunteer opportuntiesto help clean horse stalls, bunny cages, barn, and/or groom horses. We also are in need of sidewalkers to ensure safety our riders with disabilities and horse leaders. We provide all training and must turn in all forms annually. We start as young as 13 years old to adults. We are a family oriented, safe, and friendly place. Please join us and help us grow. REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be at least 13
  • Orientation or Training
  • 1-2 hours weekly
  • Requirements: Healthy to walk one-hour at a time in sand arena, withstand various weather conditions, must wear closed toe shoes due to handling or around horses, must be willing to complete an orientation 1.5 hours, and attend weekly.
