Do you enjoy working with children and want to volunteer your time to them short term and be a vital part of theirlong term success? We want you!
Foster One utilizes an evidence-based model which is designed to support youth who need a higher level of care than a traditional foster home but who can be successful in the community. It is all about keeping the youth in the least restrictive environment. It is a short-term placement lasting between 6-12 months.
Our team provides extensive support to the foster home and the youth as well as the discharge resource, which is who the child will live with after they graduate from the program. Only one foster youth is allowed to be in a Foster One home in order to provide a higher level of supervision and attention.
Please have reach out to Sara Allen 518-207-6898 for more details on this great program.

Description
Together for Youth is the trusted partner in providing empathetic, excellent, and individualized care. We roll up our sleeves and get things done to provide a safe haven and the best possible support for families and youth in need, in 57 counties across the state of New York.
The Foster One Program is a short-term treatment program based on the Treatment Foster Care Oregon Model (TFCO) that gives a child the opportunity to grow and learn positive behavior techniques in a home environment instead of a residential facility or group home. The treatment team, which includes Foster One foster parents, work together to deliver consistent expectations, structure, and guidance as well as patience and kindness. Foster One is evidence-based with proven positive outcomes.
Our Foster Care Program's primary goal is to work alongside our foster families to reunify children with their biological families as quickly as possible. When that is not an option, our team works tirelessly to identify "Forever Families" for those youth freed for adoption.
