Volunteer Description: The Development and Outreach Department of Human Rights Watch (HRW) is seeking volunteers for a community event held in Fort Lauderdale on Wednesday, November 13, 2024. Volunteers will be asked to help greet, usher, and serve hors d'oeuvres.

The event, a community-wide film screening and researcher briefing, begins with registration and a reception at 6:00 pm, followed by a screening and program at 6:30 pm. The event will conclude by 9:00 pm.

VOLUNTEERS MAY BE INVOLVED WITH:

▪ Event set-up and breakdown;

▪ Greeting and ushering attendees;

▪ Serving food and drinks; and

▪ Other miscellaneous tasks

Volunteers will be briefed on-site for all tasks. All are welcome to stay following the reception for the film screening and conversation.
