Position Overview: We are seeking a creative and strategic Social Media Manager to take the lead in developing, implementing, and managing our social media strategy. This role involves crafting engaging content, building meaningful connections with our community, and promoting the values and services of the Broken Hearts Initiative. The ideal candidate is empathetic, socially aware, and has a knack for storytelling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation: Design and produce high-quality, engaging content (posts, stories, videos) for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and TikTok. Tailor content to each platform’s audience while maintaining a consistent brand voice.
  • Community Engagement: Build a supportive and inclusive online community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions. Create opportunities for followers to share their stories and experiences.
  • Campaign Management: Develop and execute campaigns that highlight the Broken Hearts Initiative’s mission, special events, support services, and fundraising efforts.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Track social media performance metrics (engagement, reach, follower growth) and adjust strategies based on insights. Provide monthly reports with recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and content teams to align social media efforts with broader organizational goals and campaigns.
  • Trend Monitoring: Stay up to date with social media trends, new platform features, and best practices to keep our strategy fresh and engaging.
  • Brand Ambassador: Be the voice of Broken Hearts Initiative on social media, communicating with authenticity and sensitivity to our audience's needs and experiences.
