Tri-State Veterans Assistance Network supports homeless veterans in temporary shelter and those unsheltered on the streets. As the temperatures drop, homeless veterans are in desperate need of warmth. Volunteers are needed to donate blankets, make blankets, or hold a blanket drive to meet the needs of these veterans.

Ensuring the psychological needs of veterans are provided for while meeting the needs for safety and security, love and belonging, and self-esteem in a nonjudgmental environment.
Description
Our organization was founded in March 2024 in order to better meet the needs of the veterans our cofounders were trying to assist. In the first three months of our non-profit, we assisted 5 veterans with household essentials when they transitioned into housing after being homeless. We also have organized and hosted many events for veterans, including outings and luncheons. These events allow us to provide positive peer support to those that are experiencing homelessness and working towards being successful and sober individuals.
