We will be working with a girl scout troop to serve Thanksgiving lunch to the veterans at the Domiciliary Care for Homeless Veterans on Sunday, November 24, from 11 am - 1 pm. Volunteers are needed to bring side dishes for the meal that the girl scouts will be serving. Volunteers do not have to stay for the event, but are welcome to stay and socialize with the veterans as they enjoy their lunch. Dessert items are also needed.

Description
Our organization was founded in March 2024 in order to better meet the needs of the veterans our cofounders were trying to assist. In the first three months of our non-profit, we assisted 5 veterans with household essentials when they transitioned into housing after being homeless. We also have organized and hosted many events for veterans, including outings and luncheons. These events allow us to provide positive peer support to those that are experiencing homelessness and working towards being successful and sober individuals.
