Join hundreds of volunteers to read and record print materials for broadcast and podcast, from the comfort of your own home! Typically a 1-2 hour weekly commitment.
This is a weekly show that contains the Pueblo Chieftain where the Reader chooses main articles, making sure to fit those articles in a 54-minute segment. It is broadcast at 8pm Saturday evening with a required upload by 7:30pm.

We provide news and information in audio format for the blind and low vision community of Colorado. Our purpose is to offer connection. We connect people with voices that understand and heal, with tools that offer self sufficiency, with news that informs and educates, with events that empower, and with stories that entertain.
Description
Our team of volunteers read and record print materials on a daily, weekly, monthly, or as needed basis. We offer English and Spanish programs.
We are always looking for volunteers that have a clear speaking voice, good language skills, and tech savvy to produce audio files for us to air and publish. Voiceover experience is a plus. This is roughly a 2 hour, weekly, remote commitment.
Fill out an application from our website (www.aincolorado.org/volunteer-application) and you will then be sent instructions to audition. If you pass, the Volunteer Coordinator will work with you to assign you a program.

- We require that you have a mic and pc/computer in your home and you will have to do an audition. Once passed, we will do an Orientation on the material and uploading of the recordings.
