Volunteer Opportunity:

Are you passionate about supporting children and families with disabilities? Do you have a knack for organization and a desire to make a meaningful impact in your community? NestEd Center for Development, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing comprehensive evaluations and wraparound services for children with trauma and disabilities, is looking for dedicated volunteers to assist with administrative work and outreach efforts!

Position: Administrative and Outreach Volunteer
Location: Remote or in-person (Bay Area, CA)
Commitment: Flexible, minimum 5 hours per week
Reports to: Executive Director

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with general administrative tasks, including scheduling, document management, and communication
  • Support outreach efforts by engaging with community organizations, schools, and potential partners
  • Help manage and update databases, ensuring accurate and timely data entry
  • Assist with coordinating events, workshops, and training sessions
  • Develop content and materials for social media, newsletters, and promotional campaigns
  • Provide additional support as needed for special projects and initiatives
Qualifications:
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Comfortable with technology, including Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and social media platforms
  • Passion for helping children with disabilities and supporting their families
  • Previous administrative or nonprofit experience is a plus, but not required
