We are looking for a passionate Chief People Officer to support our team in various aspects of personnel management. Your main task will be to create and maintain a positive work environment, recruit new volunteers, organize training, and support the team. This role is ideal for someone who wants to develop skills in HR, work in a dynamic environment, and contribute to charitable projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment and onboarding of new volunteers
- Conducting interviews and assessing candidates
- Coordinating the adaptation process for new team members
- Supporting a positive work climate
- Participating in the development of HR processes and policies
- Managing the volunteer database and updating information
Requirements:
- Experience or education in HR is a plus
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a team and maintain a positive atmosphere
- High level of responsibility
- Willingness to dedicate 20 hours per week to volunteer work
- Minimum 1year
- Location: San Francisco and Bay Area

Career Pathway Institute is a strong supportive community of working professionals and business leaders, who can relate to the problems and frustrations of internationals. They have been there, know how hard it was, and are ready to share their knowledge and resources to support others.
We organize career workshops, panel discussions with working professionals and hiring managers, career fairs, career coaching and much more.
We work in partnership with other local and global Nonprofits, sharing resources and empowering internationals, helping them on every step of their career journey, from identifying whom they want to be to the moment they sign their first job offer or open their own business.
