Program: Pilot Tutoring (Club B TPS)
Communities In Schools of Tacoma is seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to inspire students to grow their academic skills! Gray Middle school serves students aged 11-14, many of whom are below grade level in math, science and reading. Academic tutors will be assisting students one-on-one after school, keeping them motivated and on-task so that they can complete their homework. We are looking for caring adults who can help students stay motivated and coach them through their academics.
This after-school program is on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 2:30 PM - 4:30 PM.

Communities In Schools is part of the 5th largest youth development organization in the country. We are the only ones proven to increase graduation rates AND decrease dropout rates.
We serve as the bridge between the student and the community, bringing in resources that help break down the barriers that students have to be successful in school.
