About Us: Sunrise Service Dogs

Sunrise Service Dogs is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located in beautiful Colorado Springs, Colorado. We are dedicated to creating a bridge of possibility by partnering individuals with exceptional canines. We do this by providing purpose bred dogs to individuals with a disability along with the training required to create an effective and lasting partnership. We remove the barriers to access by providing our programs at no cost to the recipient. To improve accessibility in our communities we also provide owner-training programs to qualified teams in our community.

Position: Treasurer

We are actively seeking a dedicated individual to fill our open Treasurer position on our board. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute your financial expertise to a meaningful cause while collaborating with other passionate community members.

What We're Looking For:

• Strong background in finance
• Passion for nonprofit work and community impact
• Colorado-based individual (preferred)
• Ability to attend quarterly board meetings (4 times per year virtual)
• Enthusiasm for our mission and vision
• Must care about people and dogs
